The Knowledge Hub Along With Coventry University Participated In Edu Gate Fair And The British Troph

Partnering with The Knowledge Hub, a delegation from Coventry University is set to debut at the 4th convention of Edu Gate. The exhibition, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Union of Arab Universities, is a three-day event from 26th to 28th of February, 2019.

Inaugurating opening day by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, Prof. Amr Ezzat Salamah, General Secretary of the Union of Arab Universities, and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, Former President of Benha University and Chairman of the Al-Ahram Foundation.

The exhibition follows the speech made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi where he hailed 2019 as “The Year of Education”. Numerous private, international, and public universities are attending the event alongside newly established universities from the New Administrative Capital.

Coventry University will offer the same curriculum, teaching methodologies, quality assurance, providing the exact same bachelor’s degree offered in the UK. In addition, Mr. Ihab Salama presented the facilities The Knowledge Hub will offer to our students, and the strategic plan for the institution.

In addition to participating in EduGate, on the 26th to the 28th of February, The Knowledge Hub sponsored the British Trophy event by “BESA”, an annual football tournament that raises athletic awareness amongst students in international schools in Egypt.

The Knowledge Hub is very keen on participating in these two events for the opportunity to introduce Coventry University to students in the region, the objective is to impart the experience to the new generation and strengthen them through knowledge. As a university, the priority is to equip students with the tools and skill sets that prepare them for the competitive job market and provide them with opportunities to positively impact the local and international economy.

By September 2019, El Sewedy Education aims, through the Knowledge Hub, to alter the higher education landscape in Egypt and propel it into the international arena. The Knowledge Hub, based in the New Administrative Capital, will host select degrees from prestigious international universities and is expected to accommodate 15,000 students by the final phase of the campus construction. Phase one of the campus is expected to open this September, on an area of 27,000 sqm.
